Abstract

Air Transportation

The total number of commercial air passengers departing (embarking) from Central Java in December 2024 was 134,676 people, down 7.77 percent compared to November 2024 which was recorded at 146,024 people.

The total number of commercial air passengers arriving (disembarking) to Central Java in December 2024 was 141,731 people, down 1.91 percent compared to November 2024 which was recorded at 144,491 people.

Domestic flights are only available at Ahmad Yani Airport in Semarang and Adi Sumarmo Surakarta while flights at Tunggul Wulung Airport in Cilacap, Dewadaru Jepara, JB. Soedirman Purbalingga and Ngloram Blora have not yet opened scheduled domestic flights.

International flights are only available at Adi Sumarmo Airport in Surakarta.

Sea Transportation

The total number of departures (embarkations) of sea passengers through Tanjung Emas, Karimunjawa, and Jepara Seaports in December 2024 was 24,838 people, down 6.75 percent compared to November 2024 which was 26,636 people. Meanwhile, the number of arrivals (disembarkations) of sea passengers in December 2024 was recorded at 25,349 people, up 9.02 percent compared to November 2024 which was 23,251 people.

The total number of unloaded non-oil and gas commodities in tons at the Ports of Jepara, Tanjung Emas Semarang, Tanjung Intan Cilacap, Tegal, and Karimunjawa for domestic trade in December 2024 was recorded at 1,669,900 tons, up 12.72 percent compared to November 2024 which was 1,481,464 tons. The total volume of non-oil and gas commodity goods loaded in tons through the five major ports in Central Java in December 2024 was recorded at 579 tons, down 90.77 percent compared to the previous month which was 6,273 tons.
