Abstract

The export value of Central Java in May 2023 amounted to US$ 955.46 million, an increase of 40.99 percent compared to exports in April 2023. Likewise, when compared to exports in May 2022, it increased by 22.89 percent.

The import value of Central Java in May 2023 amounted to US$ 1,593.03 million, an increase of 62.20 percent compared to imports in April 2023. Likewise, when compared to imports in May 2022, it increased by 18.98 percent.

The value of Central Java's total trade balance in May 2023 experienced a deficit of US$ 637.57 million, triggered by a deficit in the oil and gas sector, while the non-oil and gas sector experienced a surplus. The oil and gas sector experienced a deficit of US$ 805.57 million, but on the contrary, the non-oil and gas sector experienced a surplus of US$ 168.00 million.
