Abstract

The export value of Central Java in March 2023 was US$ 905.01 million, an increase of 10.03 percent compared to February 2023. However, when compared to March 2022, it decreased by 23.42 percent.

The value of Central Java's imports in March 2023 amounted to US$ 1,266.29 million, an increase of 50.91 percent compared to imports in February 2023. Likewise, when compared to the value of imports in March 2022, it increased by 25.54 percent.

The value of Central Java's total trade balance in the March 2023 period experienced a deficit of US$ 361.28 million, triggered by a deficit in the oil and gas sector, while the non-oil and gas sector experienced a surplus. The oil and gas sector experienced a deficit of US$ 551.66 million, but on the contrary, the non-oil and gas sector experienced a surplus of US$ 190.38 million.
