Human Development Index of Kendal Regency 2022

This publication contains the development of the Human Development Index (HDI) value for Kendal Regency in 2022 along with its constituent dimensions. HDI is an indicator of development achievements in the quality of life of society which is structured based on three basic dimensions, namely long and healthy life, knowledge and decent living standards. The dimension of long life and healthy living is represented by the indicator of life expectancy at birth.The knowledge dimension is represented by indicators of years of schooling and average years of schooling, while the dimension of decent living standards is represented by per capita expenditure adjusted for PPP (Purchasing Power Parity). HDI figures are presented periodically every year at the national, provincial and district/city levels. The periodic presentation of HDI figures by region allows each region to know the map of human development in its region, including achievement, speed, position and disparities between regions.
We hope that this publication can provide an overview of human development in Kendal Regency, and can be used as a reference in implementing planning and evaluating human development policies in Kendal in the future.
