Abstract

In March 2023, the level of inequality in the population of Central Java as measured by the Gini Ratio was recorded at 0.369. This figure increased by 0.003 points when compared to the Gini Ratio in September 2022 which was 0.366. "

Based on the World Bank's size of inequality, the distribution of expenditure in the bottom 40 percent group was recorded at 18.74 percent in the low inequality category.

In March 2023, the Gini Ratio in urban areas was recorded at 0.399. An increase of 0.392 when compared to September 2022. The Gini Ratio in rural areas was recorded at 0.318, down 0.326 when compared to September 2022"
