Fisheries Statistics Survey Briefing 2025

BPS held a briefing on Fisheries Statistics Survey Briefing 2025 via Zoom Meeting from February 4 to 6, 2025. The event was attended by representatives from various regions, including BPS Kendal Regency, which was represented by two employees: Andi Muhammad Maskun, S.ST (Junior Expert Statistician) and Fitri Kurniasari, A.Md (Advanced Implementing Statistician).

The briefing aimed to evaluate fisheries statistics activities, particularly those related to PP-TPI and PIT, as well as to adjust and establish the PP-TPI Directory 2025. This was in line with the issuance of the Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries Decree (Kepmen KP) No. 132 of 2023 regarding the National Fisheries Port Master Plan. Additionally, the briefing aimed to provide an understanding to regional fisheries statistics PICs regarding the changes in the PP-TPI questionnaire that will be used for data collection in 2025.

Through this briefing, it is expected that the fisheries statistics survey process will align with the latest policies in the marine and fisheries sector.
