the One Million Trees Movement Day for the Cleaner Environment

On January 10, 2025, the One Million Trees Movement Day serves as an opportunity to remind people of the importance of trees in maintaining environmental balance. The goal of this effort is to preserve ecosystems, produce oxygen essential for living beings, and prevent flooding.

In Kendal Regency, forest areas cover a total of 13,648.63 hectares, with a significant contribution from production forests. The main outputs from these areas include teak wood amounting to 10.206,79 m³, mixed hardwood at 7.94 m³, and firewood at 17.25 m³.

This commemoration invites people to contribute to environmental preservation by planting trees and protecting forest sustainability. Trees not only provide benefits to the environment but also serve as a valuable legacy for future generations.
