Direct and Indirect Impact of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) Data for Kendal Development

November 3, 2023 | BPS Activities

Kendal [3/11] Hi #sahabatdata
BPS Kendal Regency held a workshop with the theme Direct and Indirect Impact of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) Data for Kendal Development.
The event which was held at the Sae Inn Hotel on November 3 2023 invited Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD), agencies, and companies/business actors who were respondents to the Quarterly Survey and the Kendal Regency BPS Annual Survey. The event, which was held at the Sae Inn Hotel, invited 50 participants and was opened directly by the Regional Secretary of Kendal Regency, Mr. Ir. Sugiono, MT. In his speech he said that accurate data is needed in calculating economic growth. BPS as the 'photographer' who neutrally carries out his work must be balanced by OPD and business actors by providing a true picture of data and information as material that will be photographed by BPS.
Head of BPS Kendal Regency, Ummi Hastuti, also added that it is important to establish good coordination and communication because the role of survey officers and respondents is very important in producing quality data. He also conveyed his thanks and appreciation to business respondents for the support they have provided in organizing statistics for the success of regional development.

Present as resource persons in this activity were the Intermediate Statistician from BPS Central Java Province, Didik Nursetyohadi, M.Agb and the Assistant for Economics and Development for Kendal Regency, Wiwit Andariyono, S.STP. Wiwit conveyed the kaleidoscope of Kendal Regency and the important role of BPS data for regional development. Didik welcomed, good data quality is the main key to optimal service to data users. Data submitted by business actors and OPD is very important in supporting development planning both directly and indirectly.
